Montagne Communications Announces New Hire and Key Promotion
Montagne Communications, New Hampshire’s leading strategic communications agency, recently hired experienced communications professional Tessa Kurman Ali as Account Manager and promoted key team member Grace Ames to Account Executive.
“We’ve added great depth and experience in Tessa Kurman Ali,” said Scott Tranchemontagne, Montagne Communication’s founder and president. “Tessa’s true strength is her ability to manage multiple accounts and lead complex communications campaigns to help clients reach their business objectives.”
Prior to joining Montagne Communications, Kurman Ali worked on a variety of consumer and healthcare accounts in New York City. She led national consumer and celebrity media campaigns, planned a variety of national media and consumer events, and developed partnerships with key third party and advocacy organizations.
A New Hampshire native, Kurman Ali graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a dual degree in Public Relations and International Relations.
Montagne Communications also announced the promotion of Grace Ames to Account Executive.
“Grace has been an essential part of our team for more than two years and has earned this promotion,” Tranchemontagne said. “She has a proven track record of delivering client success and is able to work quickly and effectively to meet their needs.”
Since Ames joined Montagne Communications in August 2015, she has provided support to account teams in a variety of areas, including community relations, media outreach, social media and event planning.
Prior, Ames worked at a Boston-based public relations agency where she was responsible for supporting corporate positioning initiatives, thought leadership programs and securing media coverage for a mix of technology and healthcare clients ranging from small startups to global, publicly-held household brands.
Ames received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies and a double minor in Public Relations and Advertising from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire.
