CONCORD — After another Powerball drawing resulted in no winner Saturday, the New Hampshire Powerball jackpot is expected to reach $375 million for Wednesday's drawing.

The New Hampshire Lottery also projects that the one-time payout cash option will reach $235.4 million.

Saturday’s Powerball drawing marked the 18th straight drawing without a winner. The Powerball jackpot has been growing since April 1, 2017.

“As the Powerball jackpot has grown over the past couple months to $375 million for Wednesday’s drawing, we can feel the Powerball fever rising with our players and retailers. Just last week alone, Powerball ticket sales reached nearly $1.2 million as the excitement grew,” Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the N.H. Lottery, said. “We take pride in the fact that New Hampshire is home of the nation’s first lottery and that we have had ten lucky Powerball winners."

Last summer an anonymous New Hampshire player claimed a $487 million winning Powerball ticket sold at the Hannaford Supermarket in Raymond.

The New Hampshire Lottery celebrated the 25th anniversary of Powerball earlier this year.

Powerball game sales began nationally on April 19, 1992, with the first drawing being held on April 22, 1992.

The N.H. Lottery began selling Powerball tickets 22 years ago, with the first N.H. Powerball drawing taking place on November 8, 1995.

Powerball drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:00 p.m., and Powerball tickets are on sale at more than 1,250 retailers in New Hampshire until 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.
