Jeff Mucciarone, Account Manager
Jeff Mucciarone works as an Account Manager providing support to the account team in a variety of areas, including media outreach, research and writing.
Along with drafting and editing press releases for clients, Jeff also conducts media outreach to pitch stories to reporters and editors. He also conducts media research, updates media lists and compiles comprehensive media reports for clients.
Prior to joining Montagne, Jeff worked as the Senior News Writer at The Hippo in Manchester for five years, writing about the environment, public policy and politics, including the 2012 First in the Nation Presidential Primary. He also completed a series of articles on homelessness in New Hampshire in the summer of 2013. He was recognized as the 2012 NH Fish and Game Award Winner in Communications for his work covering issues related to outdoor pursuits and wildlife. Prior to joining the Hippo, Jeff worked for the Community Newspaper Company in Massachusetts, where his coverage of a commuter rail train crash was recognized by the New England Press Association.
Jeff received bachelor’s degrees in English and Communications from Westfield State College where he served as president of the school’s English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta. He went on to receive a Master’s of Science degree in Journalism from West Virginia University, where he produced an in-depth reporting project on the socioeconomic impacts of acid mine drainage.
